This is an ajaxified WordPress theme I built for Byron Reece as a little side project at Demand Media. There were a lot of interesting pieces- like the jQuery clock, scrolling animations, and HTML5 pushstates. The design was done by my co-worker Bryan Dillon.
I also wrote a post about using ajax in WordPress themes and was able to open source the code.

The Travel Tips website on USA Today is a site I helped build for Demand Media. It’s one of the larger Content Channels with over 2 million views a month. Designed by my co-worker Brad Walton.

This site was developed for Eduardo Graca, a Brazilian journalist based in New York. The design is completely custom, created by William Morrisey. Michael Fields handled the impressive jquery on the fading images. The theme is HTML5, built of Toolbox. View it in Firefox 4, Safari, or Chrome to see all the CSS3 effects.

Ecoroofs Everywhere designs and builds sustainable living roofs in the Pacific Northwest. When we first started talking about design possibilities they sent me some amazing photos of their projects. I instantly decided to showcase these on their home page and build the site around them.
Elegant Themes had a great template with ePhoto which already had strong structure and the photo slider. The redesigned look went for brighter and more organic feel.

Getaway Adventures is a bicycle tour company I worked at for a couple years after college. I designed and built a new website in December of 2007 to help with our web bookings, search traffic, and brand design. In 2009 I converted the site to WordPress so it could be more easily managed.
The company still exists, but unfortunately they redesigned their site in 2010 and this version no longer stands.
