MapPress Plug-in Review

I had a project today that needed a google map with multiple location markers. I’ve done this sort of thing in the past by building the code from scratch- but I figured there must be a plug-in. Turns out there’s multiple options, including Google Maps for WordPress and Inline Google Maps- but the one that worked the best was MapPress Easy Google Maps. It has a great write panel for inserting the maps, and all said in done it took just two minutes to get everything set up.

I’m always blown away to find a plug-in that saves a few hours work- so I created this quick video tutorial to explain what it does. It’s a short three minute screencast showing how I used the plug-in to embed the google map in my WordPress site.

Sorry ’bout the high pitched sound. I’ll get a mic soon.
